How The Shop Works

How My Shop Works

I update my online shop a couple of times a year—usually 2 or 3—but there’s no fixed calendar. Sometimes I also take part in third-party exhibitions or pop-ups outside of these online releases. Each restock includes a familiar range of pieces—mugs and bowls are always there—but the rest shifts from one update to the next.

The best way to stay in the loop is through my newsletter. That’s where I share early previews, restock dates, and times. You can sign up below where it says "Join The Studio List" if you’d like first notice.

What to Expect

The shop tends to sell out fast—often within 2 to 5 minutes. I typically release between 250 and 450 pieces at a time, and there are usually thousands of people visiting the site when it goes live. Because of that, I encourage folks to treat each update like a little lottery. Even being there right on time doesn’t guarantee you’ll get what you’re after.

I truly wish I could make enough for everyone, but I’ve chosen not to scale beyond myself. Every piece is made by hand, by me, and that’s how I want to keep it. If you’ve found your way here, I’m guessing that kind of approach means something to you too.

A quick note: adding an item to your cart doesn’t reserve it. I know that can be frustrating, but it’s how the system works—meant to prevent people from locking up the shop by filling carts they don’t follow through on. It’s not perfect, but it helps keep things running smoothly.

A Few Common Questions

Why keep the sold-out shop visible?
I leave it up so people can get a feel for what’s usually included in a restock—styles, sizes, prices, and descriptions. It’s not about showing off—it’s about helping you know what to expect.

Do you take commissions?
Sometimes. I don’t personalize work or take custom color requests, but if the idea feels aligned with my style—or sounds like a creative project I’d enjoy—I’m open to hearing it. Just reach out.

Can I preorder?
Not at the moment. Even if I did offer preorders, the demand would likely overwhelm the process. I’d rather release thoughtful, finished collections than work from a long list of pending orders.

Do you do wholesale?
Not usually—but if it’s a special project or meaningful collaboration, I’m open to the conversation.

When are restocks?
There’s no set schedule. I announce upcoming releases on Instagram and through my newsletter. If you want the best shot at getting something, I recommend signing up there.

Any tips for grabbing a piece on restock day?
Definitely:

• Be on the site the moment it goes live.

• If you’re after something specific (like a mug), save the product URL from a previous release so you can head straight to it.

• Try checking out one item at a time to secure it faster. I’ll always combine your orders and refund any extra shipping.

Shipping & International Orders

Yes—I ship internationally.

That said, ceramics are heavy and fragile, and shipping them safely (especially overseas) isn’t always cheap. Some countries may charge import tax depending on the order total. For large U.S. orders, I can sometimes split shipments to reduce fees.

Please keep an eye on your tracking info after your order ships. I try to monitor all outgoing parcels, but with 200+ boxes in a single update, I don’t always catch every hiccup. If you notice a delay, let me know—I can usually sort it out pretty quickly if I catch it early.

That’s everything for now. I’ll keep adding to this page as questions or helpful tips come up.

Thanks so much for being here—and good luck on restock day. I hope something special finds its way to you.
